More Fishing in Stardew Valley

Stardew Valley...I keep on fishing. It doesn't matter what the weather is like outside. I like to fish. I also learned that certain fish only bite when it's raining outside and you can catch different types of fish at different times of the day.

I made some progress almost right away. Level 1 in Fishing! I know it's not much and I have a long way to go, but it's progress!

Level up in Fishing in Stardew Valley

After I got bored of just fishing, I decided to do some of the quests. There's a huge quest in Stardew Valley that is built around the Community Center. When you get far enough in the game and walk past the Community Center, Lewis tells you it has fallen into disrepair. That starts a lot of side quests to discover what happened and eventually you are on several smaller quests to complete "bundles" that unlock rewards. I'm just getting started with these collection quests, but they are fun to complete. It's not possible to finish all the quests for the bundles until at least the end of your first "year" in the game because some of the bundles require items that only appear/grow in Winter.

Finding Robin's Lost Axe

A little more on quests. You should get the "Lost Axe" quest early in the game. This is where you must find Robin's lost axe. It's located south of Marnie's Ranch. Turn East and cross the bridge and then you will find the axe on the ground near the cliffs.

That's almost enough questing for now! It's time to get back to farming and growing strawberries for my big jelly-making enterprise! More on that effort soon!
